Foundation Project on 'Resistance'

A few images from paintings that I made about my own foundation project on resistance. It became about division/seperation and struggle through material fighting for area and surface. Ended up using all kinds of odd painting materials XD: Coffee, glitter, flour, sugar, orange juice, plaster etc. Anything that would really react within an area... so would drip paint and these materials from heights or specially made hanging devices, and let them become whatever they wanted to be, sometimes very ugly messy gloopy things XD but others making the images above. Later became basis for my final major project that exhibited as three large paintings on the wall. Helped me to become really interested in abstract painting, and later led to a project at uni for how much control can you have over a painting?
